Scope Protest The Spending Cuts

The spending cuts announced yesterday are going to disproportionally affect disabled people, that’s pretty much a given.  And the government admit that they haven’t done a full assessment of the affects on disabled people of these cuts.  Which is shocking and shouldn’t have been allowed,  We will hopefully have more on the Comprehensive Spending Review and how it’s likely to affect disabled people on Disability Voices very soon.

Scope have immediately responded by launching a template letter people can e-mail to their MP asking them to stand up for the needs of their disabled constituents in Westminster.  As Scope rightly say, this is vital.

It doesn’t take very long to do and it’s really easy.  You can find more information here

Please at least consider doing this.  If you get a response from your MP, I believe Scope would like to know about that as well.
